PRIMAL FEAR Performs In Russia For First Time: Photos, Video Footage Available

The MetalList webzine has posted high-quality photos of PRIMAL FEAR's September 21, 2008 concert at the Tochka club in Moscow, Russia. Fan-filmed video footage from the show can be viewed below.

Commented the band: "After 10 years, we finally made it to Russia — Moscow and St. Petersburg. We had a great time and met a lot of great fans! The Moscow concert was maybe one of the top five club shows in our history, an unbelievably loud and exciting audience and a wonderful moment of metal! Keep the faith — the next shows in Russia will happen soon and we don't let you wait that long again! Promised!"

PRIMAL FEAR has set "16.6" as the working title of the follow-up to last year's "New Religion" album. The CD will be recorded in November/December 2008 for a tentative early 2009 release via Frontiers Records.

"New Religion" last year landed on the Swedish chart at No. 67. It also entered the German chart at No. 60. The CD was released in the U.S. on January 29 via Locomotive/Ryko. Guest musicians on the album include Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY, ex-HELLOWEEN) and Simone Simons (EPICA).
